What are you doing to get airplay for your current song/album? That's what we do at Bryan Farrish Radio Promotion... artists and bands hire us to get airplay for them on stations in the U.S. and Canada. I'd be happy to send you some info and breakdowns on how these airplay campaigns work... just tell me a good email address to send them to. We have a live music series every Tuesday night in our music venue and bar Matthew's Mug. My name is Michael Kammers. I lead the MK Groove Orchestra, (which despite our banal name actually totally rocks), a 13-14 piece horn driven Jazz/Funk/Rock big band based out of Brooklyn. Somehow I have been inducted into the responsibility of putting a bill together at Soundfix records in Williamsburg on October 10th. I know this is totally last second, however, I am writing to see if
you guys would be interested in being a part of said bill.
The gig is a tips gig, they don't charge a cover, however, the upside is if Soundfix digs you they will sell your album and perhaps do a write up about you on their website and in their newsletter. I know you guys are all big time and stuff and may not want to do a tips gig, but this isn't some lame 169 bar shit with me trying to get over, I am just trying to put together a sweet bill and think our combined powers would make for a superlative evening of sound.
